Databricks Adapter Capabilities

The Databricks Adapter enables you to integrate the Databricks database residing behind the firewall of your on-premises environment with Oracle Integration through use of the on-premises connectivity agent. You can configure the Databricks Adapter as an invoke connection in an integration in Oracle Integration.

The Databricks Adapter provides the following capabilities:

• Allows data manipulation on Databricks’ tables using the following operations:

  • Run a SQL query statement: Executes SQL queries to create, update, or retrieve individual records within one or more in tables.
  • Perform an operation on a table
    • Supports the following operations on single or multiple records across one or more tables:
      • Insert
      • Update
      • Insert or Update (Merge)
      • Select
    • Additional capabilities are also provided:
      • Review and manage parent database tables relationships.
      • Review and filter columns from selected database tables.
      • Review and edit a SQL query.

• Supports the Databricks Personal Access Token security policy.
