5.2 View and Manage Connections
The Connections page displays the list of connections.
You can search for the required connection to know its details based on the following filters:
- Name of the connection.
- Technology associated with the created connection.
Click the Actions icon (
) next to the selected connection to perform the following
operations:
- Select Edit to edit the provided connection details.
- Select Test Connection to test the created connection.
- Click Export to export the connection. See Export Objects.
- Click View Dependencies to check the dependent schemas along with the data loads, if any, that are associated with the selected connection. The dependencies are grouped by schema and project.
- Click View Schema Dependencies and select the schema you want to view the dependencies for from the drop-down menu. The View Dependencies for Schema page displays the data loads and data entities that are associated with the selected schema. You can click the link to the Data Load to go to the respective Data Load details page.
- To delete the schema associated with the selected
connection, do the following:
- Select Delete Schema.
- Select the schema from the drop-down menu and click Delete. A confirmation screen appears listing the data loads and the data entities that will be affected as part of the deletion.
- Select the checkbox and click Delete. A confirmation screen appears displaying the status of the schema as "Deleted".
- You can delete a single or multiple connections.
Switch to the list view if you want to delete multiple
connections. To delete connections:
- Select the connection(s).
- Click the Delete button. The first confirmation screen appears listing the selected connections.
- Click Delete. Another confirmation screen appears listing the schema and the data loads that will be affected as part of the deletion. For connections that have no dependencies, the confirmation screen displays the status as "Deleted".
- Select one or more checkboxes, as required, and click Delete. A confirmation screen appears displaying the status of the connections as "Deleted".
All entities associated with the deleted connection are removed. Any data loads that use this connection as source or target are removed.
