Importing Profiles
Use this procedure to import profiles into Account Reconciliation.
You can import a maximum of 300,000 profiles at one time in a file since it’s not recommended to exceed 300,000 profiles when configuring Account Reconciliation. Typically, it is better to use group reconciliations, since this allows many balances at the sub-segment level to be loaded and included in a single group reconciliation. Depending on requirements, it may also make sense to use Transaction Matching to accommodate higher volumes of loading and matching the balances, instead of exceeding 300,000 profiles. Please open a service request with Oracle to discuss your use case, if you need to exceed 300,000 profiles.
To import profiles:
- From Home, click Applications, and then Profiles.
- On Profiles, select Actions, and then Import.
-
In the Import Profiles dialog, enter:
- Click OK to return to the Profile List, or click Reset to load another file. With either selection, profiles that were imported successfully are saved and the errored profiles are discarded.
Note:
When importing profiles, the default currency cannot be changed for currency buckets that are not enabled.
