B Event Types, Attributes, and Attribute Values for Event Rules

Use the details provided in this section to create event rules that trigger the event-related notifications. In the Rule Conditions area on the Create Rule page in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, select the event types, attributes, and attribute values to trigger actions.

For the event rule condition, you can select one or more of these Fusion Data Intelligence event types:
  • AppRelease
  • DataPipeline
  • DataRefresh – Estimate
  • Instance related event types for:
    • Instance create, delete, terminate, and update
    • Compartment change
    • Wallet rotation change
    • Platform update change
    • ACL update
    • Data safe enable
    • Data safe reset

Note:

The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure event notification for the DataRefresh - Complete event type is no longer available. Use the DataPipeline event type instead of DataRefresh - Complete event type, and add conditions with requestType as ScheduledDataRefresh attributes and DataPublished status.

Create Event Rule

You can create events rule to trigger notification.

In the event rule, you must create an event type condition before you can add an attribute. You can add Attribute as a Condition and select or enter values for the attribute.

  1. In the Rule Conditions area on the Create Rule page in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, select Event Type in Condition, select Analytics Warehouse in Service Name.
  2. In Event Type, select the event type for which you want to create the rule.
  3. Click Another Condition, select Attribute in Condition.
  4. Select the attribute name and attribute value for the condition.
  5. To add more conditions, click Another Condition, and provide the attribute details.
  6. Click Create.

For example, to receive notifications for the Scheduled Data Refresh task, do the following:

  1. In the Rule Conditions area on the Create Rule page in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, select Event Type in Condition, select Analytics Warehouse in Service Name, and select DataPipeline in Event Type.
  2. Click Another Condition, select Attribute in Condition, select requestType in Attribute Name, and enter ScheduledDataRefresh in Attribute Values.
  3. Click Another Condition, select Attribute in Condition, select status in Attribute Name, and in Attribute Values enter as applicable:

You can enter one or more values.
