Preference Description
Number Formatting

Set how numbers are formatted. Your selections apply to all currencies, in all forms that you have access to.

You cannot select the same option for the Thousands Separator and the Decimal Separator.

Page Options
Indentation of Members

How members are indented on the page.

If you select Do not indent, the members are displayed as a flat, sequential list.

Number of Items on the Page Drop Down

How many items are listed on the Page drop-down.

If the Page drop-down displays so many items that you have to scroll through the list, you may want to let a lower number of items to display.

Other Options
Show Consolidation Operators

Whether to show consolidation operators.

Date Format

Date format to use throughout the Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management application.

Automatically Detect sets the date format based on your browser locale.

The format you select is used throughout the user interface, including in reports.

Enable User Formulas in Ad Hoc

Whether to enable User Formulas in Ad Hoc.

Selecting Yes allows you to perform calculations on the fly without having to submit changes to the database.

Currency Code

If you have a multi-currency application, select a currency code.

The selected currency determines the precision, scale, and currency symbol settings used through the Enterprise Profitability and Cost Management application.
