How do I submit a payroll flow?

Start on the Home page.

To submit a payroll flow you’ll begin by opening the Payroll work area and clicking Submit a Flow.

Click My Client Groups.

Click Payroll.

Click Submit a Flow.

If you have only one legislative data group it’ll be selected by default. Otherwise, select your LDG.

Highlight the Legislative Data Group field.

Click the Legislative Data Group drop-down.

In the Search field enter US.

Click US Legislative Data Group.

In the Search field enter us simplified.

Press ENTER.

Click US Simplified Payroll Cycle.

Enter a name for your flow. The application uses default values for most of the parameters. You only need to enter the required fields and any overrides.

In the Payroll Flow field, enter MRD Flow V2.

In the Payroll field select Biweekly.

In the Payroll Period field enter 2025 and then select 26 2025 Biweekly | 2025-12-13 | 2025-12-26.

In the Run Type field select Regular.

In the EFT Organization Payment Method field select Direct Deposit.

In the Check Organization Payment Method field select Check.

Start Check Number is a required field, and during setup you can enable this to populate automatically. However, if it’s not enabled during setup, you’ll need to determine the check number you want to use and enter it manually. If you don’t need to schedule the payment flow you can go ahead and submit.

Highlight Start Check Number field.

If you want to use a type of schedule, you can select that here or create your own.

Click the Schedule drop-down list.

Click to close the Schedule drop-down list.

When you’re done, click Submit.

Click Submit.

Now go through the payroll checklist, submit all the processes, and check the results.

Click Refresh.

Scroll to bottom of page.

You can view all the parameters the process was submitted with. If logging was enabled in the environment, it would appear below the process configuration group field. If you want to turn logging off, you could navigate directly to the process configuration group to see these values.

Click to close Parameters.

There are 2 types of tasks – manual and automatic. Manual tasks work like stop points in the flow where you can verify results and perform any corrections required before continuing with the next task. Manual tasks you have to mark as complete.

In the Verify Payroll Validation Report row, click the Actions icon.

Click Mark as Complete.

Click Submit.

Automatic tasks start automatically when the previous task has completed. Click Refresh to view the latest status for the tasks.

After a task has completed, you can click the task name link to see more detaills, including the internal parameters that were used for that task and the results of the process. In this case, you can also see the people processed in the payroll and drill down into the specific results for each individual.

Click the Calculate Payroll link.

Click OK.

Highlight the Parameters and Process History tab.

Click Adam Land.
