Oracle TSAM Plus Manager functions as a web application that runs in a WebLogic Server domain. It uses an Oracle Database to store Oracle Tuxedo system and application performance and monitoring data. Before using Oracle TSAM Plus Manager, it must be deployed to an Oracle Database server and a WebLogic Server domain.
After you successfully install Oracle TSAM Plus Manager, the following sub-directories are created under the installation directory
TSAMDIR:

There are two ways to deploy TSAM Plus Manager:
- Quick Deployment: Quick Deployment provides an automated end-to-end deployment process.
- Advanced Deployment: Advanced Deployment provides greater flexibility and control through individual deployment steps.
The table below highlights the key differences between these approaches.
| Feature | Quick Deployment | Advanced Deployment |
|---|---|---|
| Purpose | Fast, automated deployment from scratch; suitable for most scenarios. | Flexible, customized deployment that provides individual control over the database and WebLogic Server deployment phases. |
| Deployment Method | Uses TSAMSetup.sh with TSAMSetup.cfg to perform the deployment. | Uses individual deployment scripts to provision Oracle Database users and schemas, create the WebLogic Server domain, and deploy the TSAM Plus application to the WebLogic Server domain. |
