11 Migrating, Backing Up and Restoring Data
TimesTen Scaleout enables you to migrate
a database from TimesTen Classic to TimesTen Scaleout. TimesTen
Scaleout also enables you to create backups of databases and
restore them to the same grid or another grid with a similar
topology. In addition, TimesTen Scaleout enables you
to export your databases to a grid with a different topology. You define a
repository as a location for your database backups, exports, and collections
of log files.
