7.7.4.7 CREATE KEY
Purpose
The CREATE KEY
command creates and displays a random hexadecimal string to assign client keys. The use of CREATE KEY
ensures that the security key is in the correct format. This command provides a way to generate a key in the correct format, and it can be run on any cell.
Syntax
CREATE KEY
Usage Notes
The security key must be entered in the cellkey.ora
configuration file on the computer hosts that contain clients for which you want to authorize access to a cell.
The key is also assigned to clients that access grid disk storage.
The key must be copied manually to the hosts and cells.
