20 Oracle Fleet Patching and Provisioning and Enterprise Manager Integration

Starting with Oracle Enterprise Manager 13.5 Release Update 14 (13.5.0.14), Fleet Maintenance integrates Oracle Fleet Patching and Provisioning (FPP) solution. This enables FPP customers to leverage native capabilities of Enterprise Manager automated risk assessment, security patch recommendations, and proactively patch databases and Grid Infrastructure using Enterprise Manager Fleet Maintenance smart User Interface, and automation via REST APIs and EMCLI.

Oracle Fleet Patching and Provisioning (FPP) enables mass deployment and maintenance of standard operating environments for databases, clusters, and user-defined software types. With Oracle Fleet Patching and Provisioning, you can also install clusters and provision, patch, scale, and upgrade Oracle Grid Infrastructure and Oracle Database 11g release 2 (11.2), or later.

A Oracle Database Lifecycle Management Pack license is required in order to use these options.
