Learn About Integrating Oracle Internet of Things (IoT) Connected Worker Cloud Service with Oracle Cloud HCM

Manually tracking the work hours of your workforce can be time consuming and error prone. Integrating your existing Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) instance with Oracle Internet of Things (IoT) Connected Worker Cloud Service can help you determine the status of every employee.

You’ll know when employees arrive at a work location, when and how frequently they take breaks, and when they leave for the day. Automatic employee tracking and status reporting saves time and money and improves the accuracy of employee time cards and payroll.

Architecture

To automate time card and incident creation in Oracle Cloud HCM, you connect Oracle Internet of Things (IoT) Connected Worker Cloud Service to Oracle Cloud HCM.

To integrate Oracle Cloud HCM with Oracle Internet of Things (IoT) Connected Worker Cloud Service, you import worker data from Oracle Cloud HCM and then map the data to matching Oracle Internet of Things (IoT) Connected Worker Cloud Service worker accounts. Following account synchronization, status information is automatically sent to Oracle Cloud HCM when workers enter or leave a work location geofence boundary or changes their status to on break or off site. These arrival, departure, and status updates automatically create worker time card entries in Oracle Cloud HCM.
