About Loading Data from Microsoft Azure Blob Storage to Oracle Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure

Enable your databases running on Oracle Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure to load and query data from Microsoft Azure Blob Storage.

Oracle Database Service for Microsoft Azure (OracleDB for Azure) enables Azure applications to load and query data from Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) databases. This playbook describes how Oracle Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure can leverage the infrastructure provided by OracleDB for Azure to load and query data from Azure Blob Storage using the DBMS_CLOUD external table function.

Architecture

This architecture shows how to use the DBMS_CLOUD package in Oracle Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure to load and query data from Azure Blob Storage using an Azure private endpoint via the fast-low latency network link provided by OracleDB for Azure.
