Special Instructions (Release 9.2.6)
You can view the special instructions before you download a package.
- On the Search Results tab, select the packages for which you want to view the special instructions and click the Special Instructions button.
- You can view the following options as special instructions:
- All Packages
- All BUGs
- Special Instructions
- (Release 9.2.6) Include Dependent Packages
- Click Ok. A report is generated with all the selected special instructions. Review the report.
You can generate the report in an HTML, an XML, or a Comma Separated Values (CSV) format. If you select the CSV format then the report is exported in the form of a spreadsheet.
If you enable the Special Instructions option while being connected to the AIS Server, the completed tasks are displayed in the report in the form of strikethrough text.
You can access the Work with Software Update Special Instructions application (P96700RW) from the Software Updates menu on EnterpriseOne. Access the P96700RW application to review and set the status of each of the special instructions which have been listed when the package is analyzed using Change Assistant. The P96700RW application also enables you to mark the completed instructions from the list of instructions.
The summary analysis report shows you the special instructions that have already been completed before the current pacakage was analyzed.
