Use Analytics
In Process Automation, using Analytics you can get statistical data in the form of graphs, charts, and maps to monitor business processes. Starting from a summary view of analytics report for all your applications, you can drill down to get granular data for process instances and activities. This in turn helps you in understanding and getting insights into the performance of applications, processes, activities and also in identifying potential bottlenecks.
To view analytics data for a process application, you must have Manage permission for the process application. Typically, Process Owners and Process Automation Designers can view analytics data for the process applications that they work on. So they can view analytics data for some but not all the process applications in a Process Automation instance.
If you want to view analytics data for all the process applications in a Process Automation instance, you've to be assigned the Process Application Administrator role. To know more about the Process Application Administrator role, see About Process Application Roles.
In Workspace, open the navigation menu and click Analytics to open the Analytics main page.
The Analytics page is divided into two areas. On top of the page are the search and filter fields, and in the main area of the page is the visualization of data derived from process instances in the form of colored graphs, charts, and maps.

In the Period drop-down field, you can choose to filter process instances by duration. The available options are Past Week, Past Month, Past Year and Custom. Choose Custom if you want to view analytics for a particular duration by setting the start and end date.
Clicking the Search field will display all the applications and processes that are present. If you want to view analytics data for a particular application or process, select the application or the process from the drop-down list.

This area gives you the visualization of analytics data in process instances. Based on this data you can get insights into your applications and processes. For example, analyze the performance of your processes, determine areas that need improvement by identifying bottlenecks, analyze outliers within your processes, and so on.

Tip: You can bookmark the URL of an Analytics page view, and use the bookmark to quickly open that view. Suppose you have bookmarked the Activity list page for a particular process while working on it. The next time you want to open the same view, you can use the bookmarked URL to quickly open the activity list instead of manually navigating to that level from the Analytics main page.
