How to Enable the Skill and Qualification Tabs on Resource Pages

You can use the Skills and Qualifications tabs in the resource page to record the skills and qualifications of a resource.

By default, the Skills and Qualifications tabs aren't displayed in the resource pages. To display the tabs, you must set the profile value of the Resource Detail Page Enabled (ORA_HZ_RES_ENABLE_SKILLS) profile option to Yes.

Here's how you set the profile option and then view the tabs:

  1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to the following:

    • Offering: Sales

    • Functional Area: Sales Foundation

    • Task: Manage Administrator Profile Values

  2. Search ORA_HZ_RES_ENABLE_SKILLS profile option code.

  3. Change the Profile Value to Yes.

  4. Click Save and Close.

  5. Click Navigator > Resource Directory.

  6. Select a resource and click Actions > View Resource Details.

    The Skills and Qualifications tabs are enabled.
