Working with Preapplication Outcome
Agency planners determine the applications that are required to be submitted by the applicants, based on the nature of the project they discuss during the preapplication meeting.
Applicants and agency staff review the summary information and comments entered by their assigned agency planner on the Preapplication Outcome page and proceed with creating and linking the required applications.
Go to the preapplication you are working with, and navigate to the Preapplication Outcome page in the application detail pages. In the left navigation panel, expand the Progress menu section and click the Preapplication Outcome menu link.

Using AI Assist for Preapplication Outcome
Agencies can use the AI Assist button on the Preapplication Outcome page. The agency staff can select an onscreen prompt or enter their own planning application-related question, and get an AI-generated response. The AI Assistant helps to analyze the Resource Advisory Council’s (RAC) documents and provide zoning preapplication outcomes. It helps validate whether the applications and projects meet the local or state government requirements. Agencies can customize the AI Assistant's behavior, as well as restrict visibility and access of the AI Assist button to the authorized agency staff.
The agency must enable the Redwood interface to use the AI Assist feature.
