Enhancing an Advanced Report

Here's how you can enhance an advanced report.

You can edit the advanced report to include specific views and graphs and switch between the views and graphs as per your requirement.

Enhance an Advanced Report

  1. On the Criteria tab, in the Subject Area section, expand Worker Legislation and double-click Country. Click the Results tab.
  2. Click the New View drop-down and select Pivot Table.
  3. In the Table section, click Remove the View from Compound Layout.
  4. In the View section, with Table selected, highlight the Add View icon.
  5. In the Pivot Table section, click the View Properties icon.
  6. In the Data Viewing section, click to select Content paging.
  7. Click OK. Click Edit View.
  8. In the Layout section, drag the Measure Labels on the right above the Age Band cell. Click Done.
  9. Click the New View drop-down and select Graph > Bar > Stacked Horizontal.
  10. In the Graph section, click Remove View from Compound Layout.
  11. In the View section, click to select Graph and highlight the Add View icon.
  12. Click the New View drop-down and select Other Views > Column Selector. Click and drag the new Column Selector row under the title.
  13. In the Column Selector row, click Edit View. In Column 2, click the Include Selector check box.
  14. In the Subject Area section, click to expand Worker Assignment and double-click Head Count.
  15. Click to expand the Assignment Count drop-down.
  16. In Column 3, click the Include Selector check box.
  17. In the Subject Area section, expand Worker and double-click Person Gender.
  18. In the Subject Area section, expand Business Unit and double-click Business Unit Name. Click the Country drop-down.
  19. In Column 3, Business Unit Name, click the Column Properties icon. Click the Column Format tab. Click Cancel. Click Done.
  20. In the Column Selector section, click the Country drop-down and select Person Gender.
  21. In the Column Selector section, click the Assignment Count drop-down and select Head Count.
  22. Click the New View drop-down and select Other Views > View Selector.
  23. Click and drag the new View Selector row under the Column Selector row. In the Pivot Table section, click Remove View from Compound Layout.
  24. In the Views section, click to select Pivot Table and highlight the Add View icon. In the View Selector row, click Edit View.
  25. In the Available Views, click Graph and then click the Move icon.
  26. In the Available Views, click Pivot Table and then click the Move icon.
  27. Click the Graph drop-down. Click to close the Graph drop-down. Click Done.
  28. Click the Head Count drop-down and select Assignment Count.
  29. Click the Person Gender drop-down and select Business Unit Name.
  30. Click the Graph drop-down and select Pivot Table. Click Save Analysis.

    A flexible report is created, where you can change the views between Head Count and Assignment Count, Gender and Country or Business Unit Name, and change the graph to a pivot table.
