Alert Notifications for Legislative Data Updates

Predefined HCM alerts are available for you to use directly to monitor the status of the periodic legislative data updates for your country.

The Run Legislative Data Updates flow is used to submit the periodic legislative data updates. The flow is automatically initiated as per the predetermined flow schedule date.

The alerts send FYI worklist notifications or emails to flow owners to notify them the status of the flow, such as completed successfully, completed with errors, or skipped.

Use the Alerts Composer tool to enable and configure your alert notifications and also add recipients.

The predefined Status of Submitted Run Legislative Data Updates Flows event alert is available for you to use.

You can't use groovy expressions in the Recipient field for this alert because the flows that trigger the alerts are submitted by a background process and not by the signed-in user. As a result, there is no associated User ID or Person ID available at runtime for the expression to resolve.

  7. Click Apply.
  8. Click Save and Close.

You can then verify that the alerts are displayed in the Notifications section of the flow pattern.
