Enable and configure the job application AI overview in Redwood

Recruiting users can get AI-generated candidate summaries in the Overview tab of job applications, helping them review job applications faster and more consistently.

  1. Configure the job application Overview tab to display AI-generated summaries and ratings.
    1. Go to Setup and Maintenance > Recruiting and Candidate Experience > Recruiting and Candidate Experience Management > Enterprise Recruiting and Candidate Experience Information > AI Agent Studio > Job Application Overview.
    2. Select Enable job application highlights.
    3. Select Enable job application rating to display rating bars for Education, Experience, Skills, and Profile.
    4. You can modify the default rating values for education, skill, and experience. The total must equal 1.
    5. Enter the maximum number of summaries generated in a day.
For 26C, the daily capacity is approximately 50,000 job applications per day. Use the recruiting type and context options to limit the requisitions for which job application summaries are generated. Once the daily generation limit has been reached generation will stop.
    6. Define the recruiting types and context to determine the requisitions for which summaries are generated.
    7. View statistics on summary generation.
    8. Save your changes.
  2. Set up and schedule the Job Application Insights Scheduler agent in AI Agent Studio. You can either use the Job Application Insights Scheduler template or customize the Job Application Insights Generator agent directly.
    To use the template:
    1. Go to Navigator > Tools > AI Agent Studio.
    2. Search for the Job Application Insights Scheduler template.
    3. Select Copy Template and add a suffix to the template. This ensures that all building blocks of the agent team are created and named according to your configuration nomenclature.
    4. Select Continue.
    5. Select the Agent Team Settings icon.
    6. On the Job Application Insights Scheduler panel, select the Triggers tab.
    7. Configure the schedule and set the Interval Between Minutes field to 1 (meaning 1 minute).
    8. Select Update.
    9. Publish the agent. You need the FAI Batch Job Manager Duty (ORA_DR_FAI_BATCH_JOB_MANAGER_DUTY) role to publish a scheduler.
    To customize the agent directly:
    1. In the AI Agent Studio tab, open the Job Application Insights Generator agent.
    2. Customize the agent as required.
    3. Add a scheduler trigger and set Interval Between Minutes to 1.
    4. Publish the agent. You need the FAI Batch Job Manager Duty (ORA_DR_FAI_BATCH_JOB_MANAGER_DUTY) role to publish a scheduler.
To manually invoke the agent for live generation, Hiring Managers and Recruiter Managers need these roles:
    • Recruiter Workflow Agent Access (ORA_HCM_IRC_RECRUITER_WF_AGENT_ACCESS)
    • Recruiting Scheduled Workflow Agent Access (ORA_HCM_IRC_RECRUITING_SCHEDULED_WF_AGENT_ACCESS)
  3. Control the display of the Overview tab in Visual Builder Studio.
    1. In Visual Builder Studio, go to Hiring > Job Application page.
The Overview tab is the first tab displayed in job applications. To change the tab order, use the Ordered list of tabs in job application profile page property.
The Overview tab is selected by default. To change the default tab, use the Default Selected Tab page property.
