Configure Default Assignee for Quality Issues and Actions

Configure a user as a default assignee during object type setup for quality action and issue types in the Setup and Maintenance work area.

When you create a quality action or issue of a specific object type, the user, by default, is added as the assignee while creating:

  • quality issues or actions in the Quality Management work area

  • quality objects from item in the Product Development work area

  • quality actions from issues

  • objects through REST APIs

Any quality issue or action type created is assigned to the user selected in the Assigned To field. The specific owner is notified of approvals, specific status changes, and can track the object for quick resolution.
