Why am I unable to create a change order?

Review the descriptive flexfield settings for the Item Change Management module. Be sure that the value of context segment is set to ORA_EGO_CHANGE_TYPES_VS.

Here's how you review and edit the flexfield:

1. Execute the Manage Descriptive flexfield task in the Setup and Maintenance work area.

2. Search for the flexfield code EGO_ENGINEERING_CHANGES and edit the flexfield.

3. In Context Segments review the Value Set field. Be sure that the value is set to ORA_EGO_CHANGE_TYPES_VS.

4. Click Save.

   You must deploy flexfields after you save the task.
