Overview of the Order Promising Work Area

Use the Global Order Promising work area to find the best source of supply for your sales orders and optimize fulfillment.

Go to the Global Order Promising work area, set the Page Layout to Order Promising Summary, then examine data on the Overview tab.
Use metrics to identify areas to improve.
Track the performance of your order schedules.
Simulate and analyze the recommendations for different scenarios, such as split a fulfillment line, substitute an item, use a different shipping method, ship from a different warehouse, and so on.

Use the Summary Page

Use the Order Promising Summary to examine predefined tables and graphs that have details about your promising performance.

View a summary of the schedule performance for your sales orders.
Identify potential risk areas for your schedules.
Drill into the data, then use Check Availability to simulate different promising results.

Use the tiles on the Summary Page to get details.

Tile	Description
Schedule Performance	Find out what percentage of sales orders are on time and which ones aren't to meet the requested date. Examine how many lines you've promised over time, including the number of lines you've scheduled by the Requested Date.
Late Demand Count	Get the number of demands that are delayed. Examine them by category, such as delays that happen in Supply Chain Orchestration or in Order Management. See which sources are late according to the supply source or your customer.
Late Demand Value	Examine the monetary value of the sales orders that are delayed. Examine the value according to the category, supply source, or your customer.
Financial Performance	Get details about how promising affects your financial performance, such as revenue and fulfillment cost over time, or the margin percentage according to the schedule date.
