Edit a Page Layout

You can edit a page layout that you own and save your changes using the Save Layout drop-down button in the header.

You can't save your changes to a predefined page layout or a page layout that belongs to another user. If you must modify a predefined page layout or a page layout that belongs to another user, you can save it as a new page layout that belongs to you.

To save your changes to a new page layout, click Save Layout > Save As. The Save Layout As dialog box opens, and you can specify the name, description, access, and work areas for the new page layout.

In the Manage Page Layouts dialog box that's opened from the Page Layout field in the header, you can do the following:

  • Change the name, description, work areas, and access for a page layout that you own.
  • Change the work areas for a page layout that’s owned by another user.
  • Make a user-defined or predefined page layout the default one for the work area in which you're managing the page layout.
  • Duplicate a user-defined or predefined page layout, and change the access and work areas for the copy.
  • Delete a page layout that you own.
Note: You can't delete the page layout if it's presently being used by the displayed demand plan.
  • See which page layout is currently being used by the displayed demand plan.
  • Add or remove tables, graphs, or tile sets in a page layout that you own.
  • Move a table, graph, or tile set from one pane to another in a page layout that you own.

To move a table, graph, or tile set, select it in the dialog box, click the Move drop-down button, and select the pane to which the object must be moved.
