Manage Promising Profiles

Use promising profiles to manage various ways that Global Order Promising promises your item.

Manage Planning Profile Options

1. Go to the Setup and Maintenance work area, then go to the task.
   • Offering: Supply Chain Planning
   • Functional area: Supply Chain Planning Configuration
   • Task: Manage Planning Profile Options
2. On the Manage Planning Profile Options page, search for the value.

   Profile Display Name	Description
   Catalog for Sourcing Assignments	In the search results, set the Profile Value to the catalog you want to use. For details, see Specify Catalogs for Assignment Sets.

Manage Administrator Profile Values

Try it.

1. Go to the Setup and Maintenance work area, then click Tasks > Search.
2. Search for and open the Manage Administrator Profile Values task.
3. On the Manage Administrator Profile Values page, search for the value.

   Profile Option Code	Description
   MSP_GOP_HORIZON_DAYS	Specify the promising horizon. The promising horizon is the number of days that Promising considers when it promises your item, such as the number of days to look at in your calendar or in the lead time, the availability for the item's supply, resources, supplier capacity, and so on. Comes predefined to use 960 days. If you don't enter a value, then Promising will use 960. If you enter a value, then enter a value that's equal to or less than 960.
