Succession Management Lookups

This topic identifies common lookups for the Succession Management functional area. You can update the lookup that has an extensible configuration level as appropriate to suit your enterprise requirements.

You manage the succession management lookups by using the Succession Management Lookups task in the Setup and Maintenance work area.

This table provides information about succession management lookups.

Lookup Type	Description	Configuration Level
HRM_READINESS_CATEGORY	The estimated time before a candidate is ready to move into a job or position. For example, the readiness categories can be one of these: Ready now, Ready in 1-2 years, and Ready in 3-4 years. You must add lookups or you can use only the delivered values Ready now and No readiness available.	Extensible
HRM_SUCC_CAND_STATUS	The status of the succession plan candidate: Active: The employee is an active candidate for the plan. Inactive: The employee is no longer considered a plan candidate.	System
HRM_SUCC_PLAN_STATUS	The status of the succession plan: Active: The succession plan is still needed and is valid. Inactive: The succession plan is no longer needed.	System
HRM_SUCC_PLAN_TYPE	The type of the succession plan: Incumbent: Succession plan for replacing a specific employee. Job: Succession plan for a particular job role, for example, Systems Analyst. Position: Succession plan for a particular position, for example, Executive Vice President-Sales.	System
