What's the difference between a signed and unsigned bill receivable?

A signed bill receivable requires acceptance by the customer drawee before you can complete the bill and make it available for remittance.

You can initiate an unsigned bill receivable without requiring acceptance by the customer drawee. The unsigned bill receivable itself becomes the document necessary to claim repayment.

To create an unsigned bill receivable transaction type, leave both the Signed and Issued by drawee options unchecked.
