Copy, Audit, and Flatten Tree Versions Using a Scheduled Process
You can run the Manage All Trees Operations Centrally scheduled process to do these tasks.
- Copy tree version – Duplicate from an existing tree version.
- Audit and activate tree version – Audit the tree version, and mark the tree version as active, if audited successfully.
- Flatten tree version – Incrementally flatten both rows and columns, and force flatten the tree version.
Run the Manage All Trees Operations Centrally process from the Scheduled Processes work area.
Copy Tree Versions
You can copy a tree version using the Manage All Trees Operations Centrally process.
In the Scheduled Processes work area, specify these parameters for the Manage All Trees Operations Centrally process.
- From the Trees Operation Type list, select Copy Tree Version With Nodes.
- Enter these details of the existing tree you want to copy:
- Tree Structure Code
- Tree Version Name
- Tree Code
- In the Duplicate Tree Version Name field, enter a name for the copy.
Audit and Activate Tree Versions
To audit a tree version, and activate it after successfully completing the audit, using the Manage All Trees Operations Centrally process, specify these parameters.
In the Scheduled Processes work area, specify these parameters for the Manage All Trees Operations Centrally process.
- From the Trees Operation Type list, select Audit and Validate Tree Version.
- Enter these details of the existing tree:
- Tree Structure Code
- Tree Version Name
- Tree Code
- To set the tree version to active after audit is successful, select the Set Active Status check box.
Flatten Tree Versions
To flatten a tree version using the Manage All Trees Operations Centrally process, specify these parameters.
In the Scheduled Processes work area, specify these parameters for the Manage All Trees Operations Centrally process.
- From the Trees Operation Type list, select Flatten Tree Version.
- Enter these details of the existing tree:
- Tree Structure Code
- Tree Version Name
- Tree Code
- To trigger flattening in force mode, select the Force
Flattening check box. Note: Incremental flattening is done by default for both row and column flattening types.
