Import Data Using FBDI

You can import data from external sources to interface tables and then to production tables using FBDI.

To import objects, you use a spreadsheet template to enter the data you want to import, and then run the appropriate import process from the Scheduled Processes page. FBDI uses spreadsheet templates in which you organize your object data for import. After this, you run macros in the template to generate the Comma-Separated Values (CSV) files used during the import process and combine the CSV files into a zip archive so that these can be imported together.

  2. Generate the CSV File
  3. Upload the CSV File to Oracle WebCenter Content
  4. Load Data from Oracle WebCenter Content to Interface Tables
  5. Import Data from Item Management Interface Tables to Item Management Production Tables
