Set Up Promising to Support Your Transfer Flow

Learn how to set up promising to support your transfer flow.

1. Use the Maintain Supply Network Model task in one of the Supply Chain Planning work areas to associate the customer with an internal organization. Order Management represents an internal organization as a customer, so you must do this set up. Create this association only for each organization that receives the transfer.
2. Create a local sourcing rule. You can add source organizations for your transfer, then rank them. Promising uses the supply details that are available internally to promise the transfer.
