Using the Scheduled Work Order Operations Chart (Release 9.2 Update)

You can use the Work Center Task Reschedule program (P313003X) to view the Scheduled Work Order Operations chart. You can use this chart to:

  • View all the scheduled operations at every work center for a work order.

  • Reschedule work order operations.

The Scheduled Work Order Operations chart displays the capacity and load information for each work center in separate color-coded bars. The chart displays the remaining capacity for each day in a green bar or a red bar: a green bar indicates available capacity and a red bar indicates an overcapacity condition (when the work center load is greater than the net capacity). The chart displays a blue bar to indicate the load at the work center. Hovering over the blue bar enables you to view the number of hours for that routing operation based on the prime load code.

The system uses the same logic to calculate the capacity and load for the Work Center Load Review Calendar and the Scheduled Work Order Operations chart. For more information, see Using the Work Center Load Review Calendar.

You can use the Scheduled Work Order Operations chart to reschedule routing operations for a work order through a drag-and-drop operation. For example, if you have an overcapacity condition at a work center on a particular day, you can reschedule the routing operations and move them to a date with sufficient capacity.
