Bypass Printer Selection at Runtime (Release 9.2.6)

When you submit batch versions to a printer, the system prompts you to select the printer. You can bypass the printer selection prompt from User Profile Revisions.

To bypass the printer selection prompt:

  1. Access the User Default Revisions application (P0085) from the Fast Path.

  2. In User Default Revisions, click User Profile Revisions.

  3. Under Report Submission, select Yes for Always Use Default Printer.

  4. Click OK to save the changes.
    The system will now use the default printer defined in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Printer Application (P98616).
    Note: You must define the default printer before you select Yes for Always Use Default Printer. See "Defining Default Printers" for details. If you select No, the system will always prompt for printer selection.
