Understanding Kanban Status Override (Release 9.2 Update)

If you want to correct the status of a kanban card, you can use the Kanban Status Override program (P3163) to bypass normal kanban processing. It allows you to reset the Kanban Status of a kanban card that was checked out in error. The program will update only the status on the kanban and does not perform any associated processing.

If all kanban card records are updated to the same status, the program will also update the status on the Kanban master record.

To reset Kanban Status:

1. Access Kanban Status Override program (P3163).

2. Select the Kanban Status you want to override.

3. Update the status. Valid statuses are 1 (Checked-In), 2 (Checked-Out), and 3 (Completed). Change in the status is determined by the processing options.
