Setting Up the Activity Type
Access the Revise Activity Type form.
- Activity Type Long Description
Enter the long description for the activity type.
- Scope
Enter a value from UDC table that indicates the emission scope as defined by the GHG Protocol.
- Scope Category
Select a value from UDC 20S/SC to specify the category under scope 3. You can enter a value in this field only when you have selected 3 in the Scope field.
- Effective Date

Enter the date from when an activity type becomes effective.
- Expiration Date

Enter the date from when an activity type becomes ineffective.
Access the Determinant Type tab.
- Determinant Type
Enter a value from UDC 20S/DT that indicates the activity-specific attributes which help in determining the appropriate emission factor for further calculations. You can specify multiple determinant types for an activity.
Access the Measure Type tab.
- Measure Type

Enter a value from UDC 20S/MT that indicates the type of measure associated with the activity. You can associate multiple types of measure with an activity.Note: You must have a minimum of one measure type for an activity type.
Access the Emission Type tab.
- Emission Type

Enter a value from UDC 20S/ET that indicates the type of greenhouse gas or air pollutant emitted from the activity, and impacting the environment. You can specify multiple emissions for an activity.
