Setting Up Determinants

Access the Determinants Revision form.

Determinant

Enter a value for determinant or select an existing determinant to associate it to a determinant type.

Determinant Type

Enter a value from UDC 20S/DT to associate a determinant type to the determinant that you are working with.

Determinant Description

Enter a description for the determinant.

Determinant Long Description

Enter a long description for the determinant.

Reference

Enter the reference information for the determinant. For example, you can enter the name of the environmental agency, such as EPA or DEFRA, that has been referenced for determining the value of the determinant based on the applicable standards and regulations.

Note: Before you modify or delete a determinant record, you must first delete or void all associated transactions. The system does not allow changes to records that are in use.
