Enterprise Process Modeler for Order to Cash Overview
The Order to Cash Process Model template is a component delivered as part of the Process Modeler tool. You can use this template with the Process Modeler tool to generate an order to cash process flow based on your organization's order activity rules and real-time data. The generated process flow provides guidance for controlling and coordinating the flow and sequence of tasks that help to efficiently achieve overall objectives and goals. The template is designed to enable visibility to sales orders at key stages of the order to cash process. This feature enables you to make better use of data to help reveal trouble spots that adversely impact your objectives and KPIs.
The Enterprise Process Modeler provides a graphical tool for designing processes, defining metrics for the processes, and visualizing a real-time view of how those processes are running. As a foundational piece of the Enterprise Automation framework, the Enterprise Process Modeler enables you to define, monitor, and measure the processes that are essential to your operations.
In this section, you will know how to:
- Create an enterprise process using the Enterprise Modeler template in the design mode. The design mode enables you to download the enterprise process template and point to the target of data, automatically generate a process model based on the ingested data, configure the source of data, and save the configurations as a UDO (User Defined Object).
- View and analyze the enterprise processes in the Enterprise Modeler in the runtime mode. The runtime mode enables you to choose from a set of preconfigured enterprise processes, visualize a graphic of the process model, visualize key performance indicators (KPIs), and metrics and measurements that apply to nodes and connections within the process model, and other functions.
