The Platform Data Exploration skill helps you inspect applications, cubes or plan types, dimensions, members, forms, dashboards, and selected Planning values through the packaged EPM Client Library. Direct metadata questions go straight to the relevant operation. For business-data questions, the agent finds a relevant saved form, or reads a form or dashboard you name, then checks the returned scenario, version, period, entity, currency, and other coordinates before answering. Supported bounded ad hoc retrieval is available when an appropriate form cannot represent the requested slice. Follow-up questions reuse compatible context while retrieving fresh numeric values.

The current Data Exploration skill disables writes; any supported persisted import needs a separately enabled host with review, approval, drift checks, and read-back. Form and dashboard exports can run configured load rules, so retrieval can have configured server-side effects. Hidden system dimensions are omitted from customer-facing dimension lists.
