EPM Assistants: Tax Journal Assistant for Users

EPM Assistants enable Service Administrators to download AI agent templates for integrating Cloud Enterprise EPM or Cloud EDM with Fusion AI Agent Studio.

The following Tax Reporting assistant is now available:

Tax Journal Assistant for Users: Helps users streamline the creation of consolidation journals from TAR Journal Posting data. Users can provide inputs such as Scenario, Year, Period, Entity(s), and/or Jurisdiction(s) in natural language (English). The assistant interprets these inputs and based on mapping provided automates data extraction for journal preparation and gets the user approval to create journals in Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS).

All user and assistant activities are audited within the Tax Reporting application.

Business Benefit: The Tax Journal Assistant for Users streamlines journal creation by automating data extraction and mapping during the close cycle, improving accuracy, consistency, turnaround time, and auditability.

Steps to enable and configure

  • Use the steps in How to Use EPM Assistants with AI Agent Studio in Getting Started Guide for Administrators.
  • Enable Gen AI feature by navigating to Application: Settings. Under Enable AI, select Generative AI, and then click Save. You get a message that Application Settings has been saved.
  • Enable Journals Assistant by navigating to Application: Configuration: Select Journals Assistant in the Enable Features screen: click Enable.
