Tips And Considerations

These are some of the key known limitations:

  • Assets that are repaired and returned to inventory must be based on an item that is asset and serial-controlled.
  • The cost of repair is prorated equally across all assets in the work order.
  • Materials that are predefined with the supply type of operation or assembly pull aren't supported during operation completion and backflush. Only materials with a supply type of push are supported, allowing manual material reporting of issued quantity.
  • You can't create requisitions for material items that are not available in inventory. Additionally, existing work orders with requisitions that are fulfilled directly to the work order using a purchase order aren't supported.
  • A quality inspection plan isn't available in this update to perform work order inspections, it will be available in a future update.
  • Opt in becomes irrevocable after the creation of first work order that is enabled for inventory completion.
