Interorganization Transfer Using a Mobile Device

In this demonstration, we will show how to perform inter-organization transfer using a mobile device. This process allows users to transfer items between different organizations. Let us start the demonstration by navigating to supply chain execution navigation group.

Select Inventory Management new menu entry. This will display the inventory management mobile pages you have access to. Select Inventory Organization Transfer. The organization field will automatically default to your current organization. The organization LOB will display all the organizations you have access to.

I'm selecting Seattle Manufacturing as my organization. Click Continue to proceed to the next page. Enter the transaction details, such as destination organization and transaction type. I'm choosing Vision Operations as my destination organization. And the transaction type is in transit shipment.

Click the Generate Shipment Number button to create a shipment number or manually enter a number of your choice and click Continue to proceed to the next page. You can either scan or enter the details of item.

Enter the quantity, UOM gets defaulted. Scan or enter details of source subinventory, I'm choosing stores as my subinventory. For location based subinventory, enter the locator details. Depending upon the transaction type specifying the destination subinventory will become mandatory.

Enter any additional details and information as needed. You also have the option to add attachments if desired. Click Add to List once you have entered all the details. You will receive a message at the bottom of the page confirming that item is added to the list. You can add multiple items if you need to transfer more than one item.

Using more actions select View List. On this page, you can view the list of items added for transfer. Using the pencil icon, you can update the details if they are incorrect.

Using more actions, select Add Shipment Details. Enter the required details and click Submit to complete the transfer. You will receive a message at the bottom confirming the completion of transfer.

Item INV100 is now transferred. This completes the demonstration. Thank you.
