Put Away Receipts Using a Redwood Page
Welcome to training for Oracle Fusion Inventory Management in Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud. In this session, we talk about the feature put away receipts using a Redwood page. We'll begin the demonstration by navigating to the inventory management landing page. On the inventory management landing page, we'll get to the Receipts work area. On the Receipts work area, we see a task for received lines in place of put away receipts when the Redwood profile for awaiting put away lines is enabled.
Let's click on the Received Lines task. This navigates us to the Redwood page for received lines. We are navigated to the Received Lines tab, which is the default tab. On the Received Lines page, you can look for receiving information by receipt number in the search bar. Alternately, you can look for Received Lines by purchase order, transfer order, ASN shipment, RMA, or item.
This purchase order has been received, and the lines are now awaiting put away. We'll get to the Awaiting Put Away tab to perform put away for the lines. Navigating to the Awaiting Put Away tab, we see that the organization context defaults at the top. You can look for lines that are awaiting put away by receipt number, item, or supplier item. You can also look for lines that are awaiting put away by filters such as receipt item, purchase order, transfer order, supplier include all routings. You can refine your search using filters such as receipt details, item, source document such as purchase order, transfer order, ASN, RMA, in-transit shipment, supplier shipment number, Kanban card, or by providing receipt source or additional filters to refine your search for put away lines.
We'll select the three lines in order to perform put away and click on the put away button. This navigates us to the Put Away Lines page. On the Put Away Lines page, we'll select two lines to put them away to a common location using the update line functionality. For this, we'll click on the Update Lines button. This opens up the Update Line drawer, where we can provide the subinventory information to put away both the lines to a common location.
You can also enter locator, deliver to location, deliver to person, transacted by, reason, or notes. We'll click on the Done button to navigate back to the Put Away Lines page. The subinventory information is updated for the two lines. We'll now click on the Update button to view the information in the Put Away line drawer.
In the Put Away Line drawer, the item information, the quantity, unit of measure, destination type or defaulted from what we entered in the source document. The subinventory and the locator information defaulted from what we entered in put away lines earlier. You can specify deliver to person, update transaction date, update transacted by, specify any reason, add notes, add attachments using the drag and drop functionality.
On adding attachments, you can view them here. You can update additional DFF information here and view the receipt details in the Receipt Details section. We'll click on the Done button to navigate back to the Put Away Lines page. We'll now click on the Update button for the lot-controlled item.
We'll specify the lot information by clicking on the Generate button available in the lot section. Clicking on the Generate button generates the lot number. We'll click on the Done button to get back to the Put Away Lines page. With this, the lot badge gets updated to the green color since the lot information is entered for the line.
We'll now update information for the serial controlled item by clicking on the Update button. This navigates us to the Put Away line drawer. The open quantity that is awaiting put away defaults will enter the subinventory here for the Put Away line and enter the locator since it's a locator control subinventory.
You can update deliver to person, update transacted by, or update transaction date. You can specify serial numbers here in the drawer. This time, we'll enter serial numbers using the record lot and serial icon. This navigates us to the record serial numbers page since this item is serial controlled. We will provide serial numbers using the Add button.
This navigates us to the Add Serial Numbers page, where we can enter serial numbers individually or enter them using a range. We'll provide the From serial number. The To serial number is derived based on the quantity and the from serial number. With this, we have provided all the serials. Clicking on the Done button gets us the serial information which we provided and the serial quantity we entered.
We'll click on the Done button to navigate back to the Put Away Lines page. With this, we are now ready to submit all these lines for put away. We will select the lines and click on the Submit button.
This performs put away for the three lines in the purchase order. Having performed put away for a purchase order, let's now perform put away for a transfer order. We have searched for this TO line. We'll now click on the Update button to get to the Put Away line draw for the line. The quantity defaults from the quantity that is awaiting put away.
We'll enter the subinventory and the locator information for this transfer order line. For this transfer order, the lots and serials have been provided. At the time of shipping, the transfer order from the source org. Our receiving parameters are enabled to default lot and serials for transfer orders.
We'll click on the use lot and serial numbers from the transfer order flag in order to default the lots and serial information for the transfer order. With this, we'll click on the Done button to navigate back to the Put Away lines page. This updates the lot in serial batch to the green color. We'll submit the line for put away. The put away is done for the TO line. This completes the demonstration. Thank you for listening.
