Benefits Enrollment in Benefits Summary
Welcome to this 25A demo. I will be showing you how to complete benefit enrollments within the new Redwood Benefits Summary page in HCM Cloud Benefits.
This new feature brings benefits enrollment to the Redwood designed benefits summary page.
Administrators are often tasked with making corrections or enrollments on behalf of employees. A streamlined and efficient process is necessary to ensure and minimize delays.
Enabling the Redwood design enhances administrative efficiency, reduces processing time and minimizes errors in managing employee benefits. I have navigated to the Benefits Summary Page from my client groups and searched for an employee.
The new Redwood benefits enrollment pages can now be accessed via the benefits summary page. Scrolling down to the evaluated life events area, I can see an enrollment banner, letting me know I can make enrollments on behalf of this employee. Clicking on the enroll button will open up the Select a Benefits page. Here I will see all of the employee's eligible programs. The enrollment period is displayed along with a visited badge if prior enrollments have been made. I can click on the view enrollments button to see the employees' current enrollments and any associated badges.
If needed I can click on view report button to create a printable version of enrollments.
Clicking on X closes the drawer returning me to the select a benefits page.
Clicking on edit button takes me to the enrollment flow.
I am taken directly to the review and submit page unless the legal disclaimer has not been accepted. In cases where the legal disclaimer has not been accepted you will be taken there first. Upon acceptance you will then to the review and submit page. In the review and submit area I can view all electable choices. I can make enrollment by click on the edit icon or I can click on the step. Let's click on the edit icon for the medical and spending accounts.
Here I can scroll through all of the plans for this plan type grouping. Notice that I see all of the same items the employee sees, like compare plans, view details and plan calculators. I can also filter the plans within this plan type grouping.
Let's click on the premium PPO and enroll this employee into family coverage.
I will select all to enroll all dependents. And click save to complete the enrollments.
If I wish to see all of the enrolled plans for this plan type grouping I can select my filter and click on enrolled. This will return all enrolled plans for this plan type grouping.
Once I am finished enrollments for this plan type grouping I will click on continue button which will return me to the review and submit. I can continue making enrollments by clicking on the edit icon or clicking directly on the step. Let's click on dental. Let's enroll the self option.
And then let's go to life and disability.
And enroll in life insurance.
And select our beneficiaries.
And click save.
If I'm finish making enrollments for this employee I can click directly on the review and submit step.
Once I've made all of my changes I will click on the submit button, which will take me back to the select a benefit page.
Notice I have an enrollment submitted banner here confirming that my enrollments were submitted.
I can make changes in other programs or click the back arrow to return to the benefits summary page.
If your employee has unrestricted programs or plans you can make enrollments by changing the benefits relationship to unrestricted.
Scrolling down to the evaluated life events area and clicking on the enroll button.
The select a benefits page will open displaying the employees eligible unrestricted programs and plans not in program, along with the always open enrollment period and a status badge if no enrollments have been made prior. The view enrollments and edit button work the same as previously reviewed.
Clicking on the back arrow returns me to the benefits summary page where I can continue other administrative duties. The new Redwood benefits enrollment page is delivered enabled when you set the ORA_BEN_ADMINISTRATIVE_ENROLLMENT_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile value to Y at the site level.
This concludes this demo. Thanks for watching.
