Beneficiary & Dependent Designation Pages within Benefits

Welcome to this 25A demo. I will be showing you how to designate beneficiary and dependent within the new Redwood Benefits Summary page in HCM Cloud Benefits. This new feature brings the Redwood design to the beneficiary and dependent designation pages within the benefits summary page. Administrators require quick and efficient access to tools that support employees in all benefit-related areas. This often includes managing critical tasks like designating beneficiaries or dependents. The new Redwood Beneficiary and Dependent pages provide a streamlined, user-friendly way to simplify these processes and enhance the overall experience for the administrators.

Enabling the Redwood design enhances administrative efficiency, reduces processing time and minimizers errors in managing employee benefits. I have navigated to the Benefits Summary Page from my client groups and searched for an employee.

In the pending actions area I can designate a dependent or a beneficiary on behalf of an employee.

Let’s start by designating a beneficiary. First I will locate my plan and I will click on the edit icon. This will open a drawer.

Here I can see the employees contacts, I can designate for primary and contingent. If I designate for more than a 100% for either the primary or contingent I will receive an error message. Let’s enter a 100% for primary on the spouse and 100% on contingent on the child.

Clicking submit saves the information and now my pending actions has been moved to the completed area.

Now let’s do a dependent designation. I will locate my plan.

I will click on the edit icon.

Here I can see the dependents that can be designated for this plan. I can select each one individually or if everyone is covered I can select the select all button.

I will click submit and it will save my changes and it will move that pending action to the completed area.

The new Redwood beneficiary and dependent designation pages are delivered enabled when you set the ORA_BEN_ADMINISTRATIVE_ENROLLMENT_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile value to Y at the site level.

This concludes this demo. Thanks for watching.
