Redwood: Use Redwood-Style Notifications for Inspection Action Rule Notifications

Welcome to the demo of the Redwood: Use Redwood Style Notifications for Inspection Action Rule Notification Feature and Manufacturing Quality Inspection Management.

In this demo, we'll cover how to use the new Redwood style and format for notifications sent based on inspection plan action rules. We'll demonstrate how the notifications automatically adapt to different screen sizes and devices to ensure an optimal viewing experience and provide improved readability and usability. This will give you a consistent user experience between email and worklist notifications.

As always, we'll begin our demonstration logged in as a user that has quality engineer privileges. And we'll come in here, and we will notice that we have some notifications waiting for us. So we've had some notifications sent based upon our inspection plan action rules, which you've defined in your inspection plan. And when you perform your inspections, they get executed and notifications are sent. So let's have a look at what we have here.

So we have all inspection related notifications. And let's take a look at one of them. So of course, you've opted in to feature to allow you to go ahead and send your notifications in the new Redwood style. You'll notice that the visibility is much better. The format is different. The previous format was in a more tabular format, and this is a little bit more in line.

But all the same information is displayed. It's actually a lot more readable. As we mentioned, the readability is retained whether you're looking at the notification from a desktop or if it's narrowed and smaller based upon maybe looking from your phone. But again, the notification changes to keep the readability and really just makes it available to you in any format that's needed.

And again, because you have the bold, different types of effects, it's much more readable than the old notification. And again, the consistency is here regardless of where you view your notification. It'll look the same in email. And it's just the consistency across all of the notifications in the application. That's really a benefit to everybody.

So again, as I said, all the information is the same as we showed before in ADF. So you get to see the inspection details, the items of inventory in this case, because it's an inventory inspection, and the actual information that you've included in the notification, the messages that you've defined in your notification when you defined it in your inspection plan. So this concludes the demonstration.

This concludes our demo. Thank you for listening.
