Manage and Track Supplier Kanban Cards Through the Supplier Portal

Welcome to the demo of the 25B Manage and Track Supplier Kanban Cards Through the Supplier Portal in Oracle Fusion Cloud Manufacturing. This feature supports the requirements for supplier to view and print the Kanban cards for which they need to ship the material and mark the Kanban cards against which they already shipped the materials.

Supplier can view, download, and print the Kanban cards in Supplier Portal and also update the Kanban card status to "in transit" once they ship the material. Now, let's walk through a short demo of this feature. This demo shows you how manage and track supplier Kanban cards through the Supplier Portal enhances your business.

First, we will launch the Supplier Portal and login as a supplier and view the Kanban card summary. Next, we will select and print a Kanban card and view the printed card. And finally, we will update the supply status of a couple of Kanban cards to "in transit" on shipping the material. Log into the Supplier Portal as a supplier.

Supplier portal home page is displayed. Click Kanban icon. Kanban card summary page is displayed. The Kanban cards displayed in this page are the supplier Kanban cards that were replenished at the customer end. The cards "in process" status appear in this page. Only cards for this supplier or supplier site are displayed. You can print the Kanban card from this page.

After shipping material for the Kanban card, you can optionally update the supply status to "in transit." Let us now see how to print a Kanban card. Select one or more rows for printing the Kanban cards and click Print. The selected cards are printed. You can view the printed Kanban card. Now let us see how to update the supply status of a Kanban card to "in transit" once you ship the material.

Select the required rows of Kanban cards and click Mark as in transit action. The Kanban card statuses are updated to "in transit." This indicates that material has been shipped against this Kanban card. This completes the demo for the feature manage and track supplier Kanban cards through the Supplier Portal.
