Analyze Kanban Activity Using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence and Business Intelligence Cloud Connector

Welcome to the demo of the 25B Analyze Kanban Activity Using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence and Business Intelligence Cloud Connector in Oracle Fusion Cloud Manufacturing. You can create and view real-time reports, analyses, and dashboards related to Kanban cards and their activity using Oracle Transactional Business intelligence.

You can also extract Kanban data from your application instances and integrate with your own data warehouse or third party reporting solution using the View Objects exposed in Business Intelligence Cloud Connector data stores. This demo will show you how the feature Analyze Kanban Activity using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence and Business Intelligence Cloud Connector enhances your business. In this demo, we will create a report of the count of the Kanban cards in various supply statuses for items in M1 inventory organization.

Log in to the application as a warehouse manager. Click Supply Chain Execution. Click Inventory Management. Click on the Navigator at the top left. Under Tools, click Reports and Analytics.

The Report and Analytics page opens up. Click Create. Click Report. OTBI page opens up. Click Create at the top right to create an analysis. Click Analysis.

Search and Select Subject area as Inventory Kanban Activity Real Time. You can view the folders displayed on the left panel. Expand the folder Inventory Organization. Select inventory organization code. And add to selected columns.

Now, expand Items folder. Add item under main subfolder to selected columns. Expand the folder Kanban Card Details. Add supply status and Kanban number to selected columns.

Now, let us filter as per inventory organization code. Click on the cogwheel icon next to the column inventory organization code. And click Filter. Select organization code as M1 for the filter. Click OK.

Now, you need to get the count of Kanban card numbers. Click the cogwheel icon near the selected column Kanban number. Click Edit Formula. Click Insert Function Action. Click Aggregate and then Count. Click OK. Click OK again.

Now, we are ready to view the report. Click Results tab at the top right. The required report is displayed. The report can be viewed on a separate page.
