Enable Redwood Experience for the Pending Actions within the Benefits Summary Page
Hello, and welcome to this 25B demonstration of Oracle Cloud Benefits Pending actions within the Benefits Summary Page. In this session, we’ll review the new features, the business need it addresses, how it works in the system, and the key benefits it provides to administrators.
There are three new features added to the pending actions region within the benefits summary page. The ability to receive a national identifier or date of birth on behalf of the employee and close all past optional pending actions. Businesses need greater flexibility and control over the benefits administration pages to improve clarity and the user’s experience. The new features help streamline the benefits administrator’s tasks by improving efficiency, reducing manual effort, and enhancing the overall user’s experience.
In this demonstration I will show you how the administrator can receive pending actions on behalf of the employee for a national identifier or a date of birth and the new close past optional pending action items functionality. Let’s navigate to the benefits administration, then click on the benefits activity center. And I will search for my employee.
In the pending actions region I see there are outstanding three pending actions, two of my pending actions require a legislative identifier like a social security number and the third one requires a date of birth for the designated beneficiary. So let’s go ahead and receive the first pending action item by clicking on the edit icon which opens up a drawer.
I will click on the national identifiers button. And here I can select the information needed. Select US. And my type is a social. And then I will just enter in a social number. I can view it by clicking on the show, hide icon. And then I will click on save.
I can review my information here and click on the X to close the drawer. And then my pending action has been completed.
Now let’s look at the date of birth pending action. We will click on the edit icon, which opens up a drawer. We will click on the edit icon and I will enter in my date of birth.
And I will click save and I can review the information. Clicking the X will close my drawer. And that pending action has been completed.
Now let’s look at how to close past optional pending actions in bulk for this employee. This new button will close all past action items for all prior life events that do not require suspension. Now it will not close actions items for the most recent life event. So let’s click on the button.
Now I can see all of the past action items have been closed.
This concludes this demonstration. Thank you for watching.
