Create and Transmit Ceridian XML Files

After you have installed and configured the Ceridian Extract, Ceridian XML files are created when you run these Oracle payroll processes.

  • Generate Payslip

    Creates a Ceridian XML file for data for Ceridian's tax-filing, Wage attachment disbursement, and new hire reporting services. It creates a separate Ceridian XML file for Ceridian's check print service.

  • US Third-Party Quarterly Tax Extract

    Creates a Ceridian Quarterly XML file for Ceridian's tax-filing and multiple worksite reporting services. The extract also creates a Ceridian Annual XML file for Ceridian's tax-filing, W-2 filing, and W-2 print services.

You can transmit these XML files to Ceridian automatically or manually.

  • You can use the FTP capability of the OTBI Server to send the files directly to Ceridian. You can also use the OTBI Server to send the Ceridian XML files to the Oracle Integration Cloud or to another internal file transfer application.

  • You can manually download the Ceridian XML files from either Oracle Cloud or the OTBI server. In the Oracle Cloud application, the Ceridian XML files are available in the Output and Log Files section of the Payroll Flow results page. On the OTBI server, the Ceridian XML files are available through Report Job History.
