Finding Predefined E-Document Template Files for Brazil

The Brazil Certification Tax Authorities SuiteApp provides predefined e-document template files for several Brazilian tax authorities.

Electronic invoices for goods
Electronic invoices for services
Guia Nacional de Recolhimento de Tributos Estaduais (GNRE) tax collection form
Receiver acknowledgment

The SuiteApp also provides predefined e-document templates for you to create inbound e-document records and convert them into NetSuite transactions.

You can download the predefined template files to your computer. If you want, after downloading the templates, you can customize them according to your business needs.

The predefined files are available in your account’s File Cabinet. For more information about the File Cabinet, see Searching for and Viewing Files in the File Cabinet.

After you download and possibly customize the templates, you can use them to create e-document template records in NetSuite. For more information, see Creating E-Document Templates.

To find predefined e-document template files for Brazil:

Go to Documents > Files > File Cabinet.
In the sidebar or list, click SuiteApps.

The files and folders within this folder appear.
Click the com.netsuite.brazilcertificationtaxauth folder.

The folders within this folder appear.
Click the src folder.

The braziltemplates folder appears.
Click the braziltemplates folder.
To download templates for electronic invoices for goods, do the following:
1. Click the Goods folder.
2. Find the template file you want and click Download.
  
  The folder may contain e-document template files to be used in the tax authority’s test environment. These files are identified by the prefix Test.
To download templates for electronic invoices for services for a tax authority that uses its own templates, do the following:
1. Click the Services folder.
2. Find the state in which the tax authority is located, and click its folder name.
3. Find the city from the tax authority you want, and click its folder name.
4. Find the template file you want and click Download.
  
  The folder may contain e-document template files to be used in the tax authority’s test environment. These files are identified by the prefix Test.
To download templates for electronic invoices for services for a tax authority that uses a third-party standard, do the following:
1. Click the Services folder.
2. Find the standard that the tax authority uses to generate e-documents, and then click its folder name.
3. Click the folder named after the version of the standard that the tax authority adopts.
4. Find the template file you want and click Download.
  
  The folder may contain templates for both synchronous and asynchronous communication. Ensure you download the templates that match the method of communication used by the tax authority to which you want to send e-documents.
  
  The folder may contain e-document template files to be used in the tax authority’s test environment. These files are identified by the prefix Test.
To download templates for the GNRE tax collection forms, do the following:
1. Click the GNRE folder.
2. Click the National folder.
3. Find the template file you want and click Download.
To download templates to send receiver acknowledgment events, do the following:
1. Click the Receiver-Acknowledgment folder.
2. Find the template file you want and click Download.
To download templates to transform inbound e-documents into NetSuite transactions, do the following:
1. Click the E-Document Conversion folder.
2. Find the template file you want and click Download.
