Oracle Enterprise Manager provides a complete set of facilities to administer Oracle9iAS Containers for J2EE (OC4J) and Oracle9iAS clusters, including:
Configuration: To configure the OC4J container, Oracle9iAS clusters, and other services such as JTA, JMS, data sources, and RMI; to set up security; to start and stop an entire cluster of Oracle9iAS instances as a single unit; to optimize an entire cluster for throughput and scalability; and to configure load balancing in a clustered environment.
Comprehensive Monitoring: To monitor the JSP runtime, the Servlet engine, and the EJB container for both performance and availability; and to monitor Oracle9iAS clusters for both load and performance.
Application Deployment: To deploy J2EE applications to the container or to an entire cluster, to determine which applications have already been deployed, and to remove applications that have been deployed.
