Alerts and Notifications |
Ruby receives an alert about when the meeting will take place and has the planning document faxed to her. She also receives an invitation to a meeting with Kate Clater to discuss the press release. Ruby's cellular phone rings while she is in a meeting. She receives two alerts. The first alert is a notification from John about a new meeting that will take place tomorrow, Thursday, at 2:00 PM. Ruby does not have her computer, so she needs the planning document faxed to the London office. Using voice access to files, Ruby can get files stored on the file server and ask Oracle Collaboration Suite to fax files to her current presence or to any fax number. The second alert that Ruby receives is an update to the Planning Session that has been moved to a later time. Ruby accepts the invitation and it is automatically moved on her calendar. |
